Who We Are

The Fuquay-Varina Coalition collaborates with community partners to reduce youth substance use in Fuquay-Varina by empowering the community and youth to educate others and change policies.

Community partners include local businesses, service organizations, faith-based organizations, youth, parents, schools, law enforcement, and others who care about the well-being of our youth.

What We Do

The Coalition builds collaborative partnerships to reduce youth alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana use in Fuquay-Varina by empowering the community and youth to educate others and change policies.

Youth Empowerment

Support the Fuquay-Varina High School S.T.O.P. Club and other youth leaders as they educate their peers, increase community awareness, and advocate for policy changes.

Reduce Youth Tobacco Use

The Coalition builds awareness around the dangers of vaping and tobacco use, increase access to cessation resources, advocates for tobacco-free policies in public spaces, and educates merchants on best practices to prevent youth access.

Reduce Underage Drinking

The Coalition increases awareness of the dangers of underage drinking, promotes monitoring and safe home storage through the Talk It Up. Lock It Up! campaign, and educates merchants on best practices for reducing youth access, and advocates for policies that reduce youth use.

Reduce Youth Marijuana Use

Provide youth, parents, and community leaders information and resources on impacts of youth marijuana use.
